UPDATE: ‘Dark Knight Returns’ Poster, Silent Bob Sees ‘Watchmen’ and a Scarlett Threesome

This batch of links should hold you over for the weekend

Oh man, these link articles are too much fun…

UPDATE: Just got word the Dark Knight Returns fan made poster I mention below was made by Chris Pick and he posted it over at the SuperheroHype forums. Nice work Chris! Here’s the poster for those that haven’t seen it.

Warner Bros. chief Alan Horn talked to Variety about the upcoming DC Comics film and the big revelation is that it’s “maddening”. Yeah, it was hard hitting stuff. However, it does talk about Chris Nolan and the possibility of him returning for a third film in the Batman franchise he has created. There’s a deal for the director to helm a third pic, but he has yet to decide on whether to tackle it yet. Horn then says, “We have no idea where Chris is going with this. We haven’t had any conversations with him about it.”

Speaking of Batman, click here to check out a fanmade poster for a third Batman film featuring The Riddler. Pretty good if you ask me and if anyone knows who the originator was I would love to give him/her some credit. Let me know if you could.

Samm Levine was cast in Inglorious Bastards and I didn’t think it was worth mentioning.

Will Evil Dead 4 ever be made or just talked about forever?

Want to have a moviegoing date experience consisting of three people with Scarlett Johansson? Fine, just call it a “threesome” and make it sound dirty even when it’s not.

“Full Jew” vs. “Full Retard” = The Debate of a Bored Man’s Lifetime

I have to say this and it isn’t mean spirited at all, but what the hell is up with MTV reporting 2-3 times a day about Twilight? And then this stupid article. Gimme a break.

EW no likey Harry Potter release date change. Demanding “important friggin’ information.”

Robert Downey Jr. said something about an Iron Man sequel, and then something about a trilogy, and then something about more films beyond a trilogy and then something about hopefully getting McDonald’s to sponsor the sequel instead of Burger King because the Big Mac is WACK! Geek-gasm bitches!

Don’t get jealous, I am already jealous enough for all of us. Kevin Smith has seen Watchmen and he had this to say

I saw Watchmen. It’s fucking astounding. The Non-Disclosure Agreement I signed prevents me from saying much, but I can spout the following with complete joygasmic enthusiasm: Snyder and Co. have pulled it off. Remember that feeling of watching Sin City on the big screen and being blown away by what a faithful translation of the source material it was, in terms of both content and visuals? Triple that, and you’ll come close to watching Watchmen. Even Alan Moore might be surprised at how close the movie is to the book. March can’t come soon enough.

Justin Marks talked about writing something called Super Max. What the hell is that?

Did you believe that story about Paul Greengrass taking over for Steven Spielberg on The Trial of the Chicago 7? You shouldn’t have.

Oh, but did you believe the rumor that Lionsgate was trying to make Punisher: War Zone into a PG-13 movie? Yup, shouldn’t have believed that one either. Snap!

Rob Zombie added a track from his Tyrannosaurus Rex movie to his MySpace Page.

Beverly Hills Chihuahua looks awful. This chick knows it. The NY Times knows it. If you click here you will know it too.

I leave you with this and I hope you know the film:
