Dane Cook’s Up ‘Bachelor No. 2′

Funny man may have an acting career on his hands

I have seen Mr. Brooks and as much as it pains me I will say that while the Dane Cook storyline in the film is a bit silly he manages to pull it off and it is one of the better films I have seen this year. Luckily I can also tell you that I have not seen Employee of the Month and don’t have anything negative to say about Cook’s acting and I can confirm Jessica Simpson can’t act and has big tits without seeing it.

So, when I learn that he is in negotiations to star in a new comedy for Lionsgate called Bachelor No. 2 I have nothing negative to say about that either. Then again, Lionsgate is really churning out some shit lately eh? That could be a bad sign… Didn’t they spit out Employee of the Month? Yup, a quick check verifies that fact.

Bachelor No. 2 was written by Jordan B. Cahan, and the script focuses on a man named Tank, known for being hired to take girls out on absolutely terrible dates so they will crawl back to the boyfriends they dumped. When his best friend needs his help with the girl who dumped him, Tank struggles with his raging libido and the meaning of friendship.

An August shoot is being eyed. Howard Deutch is in final negotiations to direct.
