If you were thinking Ice Cube replacing Vin Diesel in the upcoming XXX sequel was going to be a stretch, get a load of this one as Cube is set to take on the role Cary Grant once played in the remake of Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House with Steve Carr, the helmer of Ice Cube's Next Friday taking directorial duties.
Variety describes the original 1948 comedy as a film centering around a couple that chucks their Manhattan apartment for a big house in the suburbs. The fixer-upper proves to be a nightmare.
