Well, we learned today that Watchmen will have a presence at the 2007 Comic Con and I am sure it will be to announce cast names and all that good stuff, but CHUD seems to have a jump on Warner Bros. as they are saying that Billy Crudup has been cast as Dr. Manhattan.

The site reports:

A very reliable source tells me that Snyder has settled on Crudup for the role of Watchmen’s only super-powered character, a scientist who accidentally gets annihilated on an atomic level and reconstructs himself into a big, naked, blue, floating demigod.

They don't say anything silly like "take this with a grain of salt" so I am assuming they are quite confident in the news. We will know soon enough won't we?
