Crowe Working Like An ‘Inferno’

This guy needs to slow down. He's giving ME a heart attack

Russell Crowe has been all over the place with film projects of late and now he’s getting into the production side of things with his new studio, Fear of God Films. Yup, that’s pretty much what I’d expect Crowe to name his production company. Well, everyone’s favorite gladiator has optioned his first script for the new company. It’s called Dolce’s Inferno which, amazingly, is a romantic comedy.

The contemporary romantic comedy concerns a hardnosed L.A. gossip columnist who falls in love and watches his world spin out of control.

Well, all right. Crowe will be seen next in Ridley Scott’s American Gangster with Denzel. After that, we’ll see him in James Mangold’s recently wrapped 3:10 to Yuma not to mention a movie called Tenderness which I know next to nothing about. Then after that, Nottingham where he’ll re-team with Ridley Scott (again). And somewhere amidst all that, Crowe will try his hand at directing an Australian surfer flick called Bra Boys. Jeez. I’ll be lucky if I read one Dostoyevsky novel in the same span of time. You can read the full Variety article here
