Creepy ‘Poughkeepsie Tapes’ Trailer Emerges

Yikes, this one could be pretty good

The only problem I see with The Poughkeepsie Tapes is that it is a bunch of unknowns that made it… of course, that, and the fact that it was shown at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival and MGM didn’t release it this Halloween season where I can only assume it would have fit best if it actually is any good.

Either way, the new trailer that popped up for the film centered on the idea that hundreds of videotapes showing torture, murder and dismemberment are found in an abandoned house revealing a serial killer’s decade-long reign of terror, becoming the most disturbing collection of evidence homicide detectives have ever seen.

The trailer says we can expect it this spring, so we’ll see. Check it out here.
