According to The Hollywood Reporter Leelee Sobieski and Ellen Burstyn will be joining Nicolas Cage in The Wicker Man.
The film is a remake of a 1973 British horror film in which a sheriff investigates the disappearance of a young girl on a remote island off the coast of Maine. His hopes of unraveling the girl's disappearance become increasingly uncertain when he discovers evidence of pagan rituals in a small cultlike community.. Sobieski plays a barmaid who is Cage's confidant. Burstyn plays the head of the cult.
The film is currently shooting in Vancouver under the direction of Neil LaBute.
