Could Josh Brolin Possibly be the New Terminator?

This one I don't see as a possibility...

Josh Brolin

Recently RopeofSilicon reader ‘JD’ sent in a bit of news via TheArnoldFans.com in which they quoted a supposed WENN quote from director McG saying he was interested in possibly casting Daniel Day-Lewis in the upcoming Terminator 4. I emailed ‘JD’ telling him that WENN was hardly reliable, even if they were saying McG actually said it and they quoted him. So I didn’t run the news.

Then, today, an interview comes out of The Two-One-Three in which McG was apparently asked who his dream Terminator would be and he said, “[There's] guys out there like Russell Crowe and Eric Bana, [who] bring a good physicality, they do what they do, but I don’t know if they’re exactly right at the end of the day. (Smiles) Josh Brolin is a very exciting actor - we’ll see.”

So basically the WENN article could have been true as it seems like McG is tossing out any old name he feels comfortable saying. Yeah, Sharon Stone may work as would Clint Eastwood… Why not Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino? I mean, anyone can throw names around.

McG also said, “We’re prepping the picture right now. The script is largely done, whether or not we’re able to prep off of it, obviously we want to continue to work on it, punch it up and we’re hoping for an expedient finish to the writer’s strike. But I’ve got my fingers crossed that in a week or two it will be over.”

As for the plot he did say that the film would be “post Judgment Day. So there really is no continuation… It’s sort of a different animal, whereas the first two pictures on this thing are Terminators from the future, this picture takes place in 2019.”

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins is set to hit theaters Summer 2009 with filming scheduled for an April start in Budapest.

Am I the only one that can pick the next Terminator? I may be wrong but my choice would be Daniel Cudmore from X2. He played Colossus in case anybody is wondering. He has the look and I think he would do a great job. What does everyone else think?

Good call, yeah I can see him as a terminator.
For shots with more T’s they can probably get some wrestlers or something.
Allthough I’ve seen The Marine and John Cena has the look but with acting he makes Arnold look smooth.
