CON 2006: Chatting with the Makers of ‘Crank’

Statham, Ramirez, Neveldine and Taylor

On Thursday Lionsgate had their presentation of films, which included the horror Saw III (interviews here) and also the upcoming fast paced thriller Crank starring Jason Statham. Like Saw III, Lionsgate had on hand a group of filmmakers and stars as Staham, co-star Efren Ramirez (Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite), and co-writers/directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor joined us for a press conference.

On top of the conference we also caught an early look at a scene from the film, which really gives us a good idea of what to expect as Statham’s character picks up a gun with a severed hand still attached to it and blasts a guy through the back of the head covering an unlucky woman with brain and dripping blood. Cool shit if you ask me.

Check out the interview here.
