Comic Con 2008 Friday and Saturday Schedules Now Available

Get a load of what we will be covering come the end of July

If you aren’t familiar with the San Diego Comic Con, let me just tell you it is Geekfest USA (I say that with nothing but love) and we are going to be there to bring you every juicy detail. David Frank and I will be covering the major events at the 2008 convention and it is going to include a MASSIVE amount of panel coverage featuring new footage of which we will detail as well as endless amounts of interview that will probably keep us busy long after we return home on July 27th.

David and I will descend upon San Diego on Wednesday, July 23rd and be covering the convention on the newly created RopeofSilicon Comic Con Blog. I went the blog route in an effort to make it easier for us to update live and on the spot. We will still include news links for some of the more major features on the main site, but there will be available links pointing to the Comic Con coverage around the site to keep you up-to-date on what we are doing down there.

Comic Con has now unleashed the entire schedule for the five-day weekend as the Friday and Saturday list of events have been released. I have detailed all the days on the blog by you can check them out individually by clicking on any of these links, Wednesday (Preview Night), Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We will be covering the likes of Watchmen, The Wolfman, The Spirit, Terminator Salvation, “Lost”, “Heroes”, hopefully Joss Whedon’s “Dollhouse”, the Disney/Pixar panel including Bolt and UP, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Death Race, hopefully J.J. Abrams’s “Fringe”, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, Quarantine and Pineapple Express, Kevin Smith Makes a “Porno” and I would wager a bet David will be all over the “24″ panel. And that is only a list of events happening on Friday and Saturday!

Of course, the best route is to go straight to the homepage and click on what interests you most, you can access that right here.
