Setting Vietnamese on fire can be tiring

FINAL UPDATE: Okay, so now we learn there are six character posters that have been distributed and you can find them at the following links:

  1. LA Times: The Comedian (Jeffrey Dean Morgan)
  2. MTV: Silk Spectre II (Malin Akerman)
  3. EW: Dr. Manhattan (Billy Crudup)
  4. Wired: Ozymandias (Matthew Goode)
  5. USA Today: Rorschach (Jackie Earle Haley)
  6. Access Hollywood: Nite Owl II (Patrick Wilson)

UPDATE: Argh, I was right, MTV has now debuted a poster of Malin Akerman as Silk Spectre II, click here for that.

The Los Angeles Times has debuted yet another new poster from Watchmen, this time featuring The Comedian played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan as he takes a break from mowing down Vietnamese with a blowtorch to light a cigar to “celebrate” the moment. The interesting thing about the image is that without my explanation behind the scene being pictured it looks like just another bad ass doing something bad ass.

I expect this is just the beginning of the character posters to debut and wouldn’t be surprised if we are slowly hit with one a day. If that ends up being the case I will wait until they are all released, but for now, here is the first one to start the trend.

You can get a larger look at the pic right here.
