Cleese On for ‘Shrek 3′

The King returns, so to say...

Animated-News scored a bit of info on Shrek 3 via a monthly newsletter from John Cleese’s personal, and odd, official website.

Apparently the thesp is confirmed to be rejoining the voice cast for the third Shrek film as the voice of the King.

Shrek 3 is slated for a May 2007 release and Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy and Antonio Banderas are all expected to reprise their respective roles along with rumors of Sarah Jessica Parker joining the fray.
