Let's move along folks

Obviously the Christian Bale onset blow-up directed toward Terminator Salvation director of photography Shane Hurlbut created quite a stir online and elsewhere. It was made into ridiculous mash-ups by anyone with video editing software to that awful James Lipton thing on Conan O'Brien's show. Quite honestly it became more annoying than newsworthy, but today a new bit of audio has arrived as Christian Bale gave an interview to Los Angeles based radio program, KROQ's Kevin and Bean in which Bale apologizes for the incident saying, "I was out of order beyond belief. I was way out of order. I acted like a punk, I regret that, and there is nobody that has heard that tape that has been hit harder by it than me. I make no excuses for it, it is inexcusable."
He continues by adding, "I'm not comfortable yet with this notion of being a movie star. I'm an actor and I don't quite know how to handle the movie star thing and the thing that disturbs me the most is a lot of people seem to think I think I am better than anybody else, and nothing could be farther from the truth… I've not only talked with [Shane Hurlbut], we've resolved this completely. That very day we kept working for a number of hours. Listen when I'm saying I'm not coming back on that set if he's still hired, it’s hot air. I don't believe that. I have no intention of getting anybody fired… Everything is resolved between us."
You can give it a listen to the complete interview below, it is 10:25.
