I am very happy to see a F&F4. From what I have seen so far from the limited preview's I think it will be a good ride for us car enthusits.

I am dissapointed (so far) that I have yet to see any N-SRT-4 or even the C-SRT-4 in the movie clips so far ( yes I am a mopar nut :P)

However I am typing this in the City of Yellowknife in Canada's Arctic, at -30 below, with my N-SRT-4 frozen in a snow drift, with our distinct polar bear license plate on it, reving to catch this movie on opening night at Capitol Theatre on April 4!

@IMaGIRL: on top of that, the STI's can handle hella good too. It has a lot of driving abilites compared to your million dollar lamob's & ferrari's. The skyline was already shown in the previous FF so if they show it again in this one, it's no big surprise.

That skyline is ah beast. The STi is probably the best car in the whole movie if you actually do a research on all the cars. Subaru has created one of the best cars in the world. You guys say that the 2009 model was crap and the earlier versions are better, but subaru are a huge car manufacturer and they have "QUALIFIED" professionals working for them, their cars can only get better. Its called evolving. Its the way of nature. More that 96% of Subaru cars that have been sold over the past decade are still on the road. When the other manufacturers can match this, then i would say "Their car is almost as good as a subaru!"

If you look at all the stats muscles car as with everything in that generation of cars were built to last, and they had best of everything. Period. hey guys i have a 2007 Nissan skyline R34 in my drive it is one fast mean machine and muscle does not all ways beat import 1 point i used to have a red 2002 shevey camaro ss and that way very s**t handling it is no way as good as my skyline.

The cars shown in the pictures above were not the cars Dom and Brian drove in the movie. Granted, Brian drove the Subaru WRX Impreza STI after ditching the drugs in the impound lot [however, it had a white and black two-tone paint job], but nobody drove the Mustang. It simply sat in the garage that Dom entered looking for a name regarding the NitrousMethane system in the car belonging to Letty's murderer.

@ben: You're full of crap dude, the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) was discontinued in 2002, the model continued as the 2009 Nissan GT-R, dropping the namesake "Skyline." You may have had an '02 Camaro, but based on your lie about the R34, I have to doubt that as well. As much as I do agree that import cars generally handle much better than muscle, it would be a tight race between turbo-charged import and naturally aspirated muscle, as the [stock] muscle, though heavier, produces better torque and acceleration numbers than the import.

@Brandon: They haven't used the Acura RSX or the Dodge Neon because these cars are weak. You can't pump 500+ horse power out of these cars without extreme engine swaps/work. The only 4 cylinder cars used in the FnF series are the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution series and its rival, the Subaru WRX Impreza STI. Both cars put out impressive figures, and are prize-winning rally cars, with rally suspensions, turbochargers, etc.

@dean: That Supra was ridiculous. They put over $150,000 into that car to get it to perform as it did, and in a race (even against the producer, like in the first movie) it probably would beat the Ferrari F355.

i am fortunate enough to have owned old american muscle and new tuner import rally rockets. in the "80s" i had 3 mopars. a "73" dodge charger 400 ci engine, "70" challenger r/t with the 440 six pack carb set up and a"69" dodge super bee 383 magnum engine. all were good strong engines and drive trains. but,the bodys on the old mopars rusted very fast. fast foward 2003 i bought a nissan sentra ser spec v. strong little engine! kept it 3 years had my eye on the prize 2006 electric blue evolution ix. love those brembos and recaro seats.2008 comes along and mitsu offers 0% on the new evo x. my new rally red gsr will outhandle and outgun any car i have owned in my life. the point is old muscle had dangerous braking power compared to todays tech.old iron is only good for straight shots. in fact, i think a kia handles better than any old muscle car i had. i see the new f and f movie has a sube wrx sti in it.alot of people don't like the new sti or the evo x for that matter. keep in mind these are highly advanced cars for that money. price and a slight edge in handling swayed me to the mitsu. can't wait to see the movie……
