Check Out Some Smart ‘Dancing’

Amy Smart will never amount to much

I think my little tagline above is a bit harsh, but does anyone out there really see Amy Smart becoming a major film star? I mean, look back at her filmography and tell me when something meaningful pops out at you, and don’t come back at me with Crank and I don’t see this next one being the one to raise her profile.

Smart is set to star in a West Coast Swing dance film called Love N’ Dancing with Tom Mallow and From Justin to Kelly helmer Robert Iscove taking on directing duties. Yeah, you heard it right, From Justin to Kelly, now you are thinking I might be right about Smart’s career right?

Malloy penned the script which will find Smart playing Jessica, an English teacher who meets West Coast Swing dancer Jack (Malloy). The pair teams up for competition. A cast of swing dancers join the duo.

The film is scheduled to get underway on July 16 in Albuquerque.
