Check Out First Look Clips from ‘Cassandra’s Dream’

Woody Allen's next actually looks like it may kick ass!

I am very unfamiliar with pretty much everything Woody Allen has done. While I hope to one day catch up on all of his works via my Cinematic Revival articles for now I will have to remain stupid on the subject. However, I cannot wait to see Cassandra’s Dream, which, as luck would have it, I am seeing next Monday. Woo hoo!

Have you seen the trailer for this movie? It looks fantastic, and not to mention, also brings what I assume to be a sober Colin Farrell back to the big screen. Win-win… Right?

Anyway, I have just added three clips from the film for you to check out and I suggest you do, because if the footage I have seen so far is indicative of what I should expect from this film count me in.

Cassandra’s Dream hits theaters on January 18th.

Set in contemporary London, “Cassandra’s Dream” is a powerful and thrilling story about two brothers (Ewan McGregor, Colin Farrell) who are desperate to better their troubled lives. One is a chronic gambler in debt over his head, and the other is a young man in love with a beautiful actress (newcomer Hayley Atwell) he has recently met. Their lives gradually become entangled into a sinister situation with intense and unfortunate results. Written and directed by Academy Award winner Woody Allen, the film also stars Tom Wilkinson and Sally Hawkins. The score is by Philip Glass and the cinematography by Vilmos Zsigmond.
