I have just added nine new images from the upcoming Sony Pictures Classics release Married Life starring Pierce Brosnan, Chris Cooper, Patricia Clarkson and the ever so gorgeous Rachel McAdams. The film is something of a romantic drama with a dark comedy twist, and I unfortunately missed a screening of it here in Seattle already and am going to have to wait until we get closer to its March 7th release to catch it, but based on the synopsis I posted below it may be interesting.

However, that's not why you are here. You wanna check out Miss McAdams in her platinum goodness, reminding you all of her Notebook days. While I prefer her with brunette locks, it is hard to deny giving her a look when given the chance.

After decades of marital contentment, Harry (Chris Cooper) concludes that he must kill his wife Pat (Patricia Clarkson) because he loves her too much to let her suffer when he leaves her. As Harry implements his maladroit plans for murdering his wife, the other characters are entangled with their own deceptions. Like Harry, they race towards their passions but trip over their scruples, seemingly well-intended towards all, but truthful to none.

Married Life is an uncommonly adult film that surprises and confounds expectations. While it plays with mystery, comedy, and intrigue, its ultimate concern is: “What is married life?”

In its sly way, Married Life poses perceptive questions about the seasonal discontents and unforeseen joys of all long-term relationships.
