Charlize Theron to Present at The 77th Academy Awards

The first official presenter is announced.

Well, it is that time of year again, and you can expect to be seeing more and more of these types of small articles as we make our way to February 27.

It was announced yesterday that Charlize Theron has been set to present at the 77th Academy Awards Ceremony on February 27. Theron is the first official announcement of the year.

Last year Theron won a Best Actress Oscar for her leading role in Monster. It was her first Oscar nomination and therefore, her first win.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2004 will be presented on Sunday, February 27, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland and televised live on ABC at 5 p.m. PST / 8 p.m. EST, beginning with a half-hour arrival segment.
