Captain Kirk's Dad is in 'Star Trek'
Two new names, and one's also a baddie

First off, I have to mention that I just received the first season of the original "Star Trek" series on HD DVD for review and it is amazing and I am only three episodes in. Seriously, if you are a "Trek" fan and own an HD DVD player add this to your Christmas wish list or pre-order it now, it is worth it and I was skeptical.
Anyway, as for the new movie we have word that Chris Hemsworth (no, you don't know him) is set to star as Captain Kirk's dad, George Kirk, in the J.J. Abrams directed film and that we also have a new bad guy. Clifton Collins Jr. is set to play Ayel, the cohort and general to Nero, played by Eric Bana.
Filming on Star Trek is currently underway for a Christmas 2008 release.
