Caplan, Cusack and Corddry Dip into the 'Hot Tub Time Machine'
Ooooooh, bubbly...

The Hot Tub Time Machine doesn't need plutonium and doesn't need to go 88 miles an hour to send Lizzy Caplan, John Cusack and Rob Corddry back to 1987 through their hot tub as Steve Pink is set to direct the comedy feature for MGM reports The Hollywood Reporter. Also starring are Crispin Glover, Sebastian Stan and Craig Robinson as production is already underway in Vancouver.
In the film a group of friends go back to the ski lodge where they partied as teens and end up transported to 1987 through their hot tub. Caplan plays, April, the romantic interest for Cusack's character. Glover is playing Phil, a one-armed, accident-prone bellhop at Silver Peaks Lodge. Stan will play Blaine, the ski-jock nemesis of Corddry's character.
This film sounds like a direct-to-DVD feature if there ever was one, but I must admit I hope it ends up being good enough to release in theaters. IMDB lists Josh Heald, Andrew Mogel and Jarrad Paul as the screenwriters.
