Cameron Bright Added to Twilight's 'New Moon' Cast as Production is Officially Underway
Now we just wait to see if this one will actually be good
Summit Entertainment announced today the start of production on The Twilight Saga: New Moon today and at the same time announced Cameron Bright (Birth) has signed on to play Alec, the brother to Dakota Fanning's character Jane, a high ranking and powerful Volturi member. The other new name added to the cast is Graham Greene who appears as Harry Clearwater, Quileute tribal leader and old friend of Bella's father Charlie. Finally, Daniel Cudmore, best known for playing Colossus in the X-Men films will be playing Felix, one of the guards of the Volturi.
Principal photography is now underway on the film which opens in only seven months on November 20, and things don't slow down from there are the third film in the franchise, Eclipse is set to hit theaters the following year on June 30, 2010.
In New Moon, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love Edward (Robert Pattinson) but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and she finds her loyalties tested.
