I was a moderate fan of the first Punisher film even though it wasn't cool to be. I primarily enjoyed it for the violence and not muich more, especially the knife through the lower jaw bit.

However, this second Punisher film, called Punisher: War Zone, was incapable of getting back its lead actor even though Thomas Jane seemed more than willing to return, sticking with the project for quite some time until he was finally convinced the script just wasn't right. The film, however, has been made and we now have for you the first poster.

Check it out below and give it a click for a larger version. Punisher: War Zone is currently set for a December 5 release… that is if Lionsgate doesn't chicken out and bump it into 2009's early month dead zone.
