Buffy's Cordelia Adds Charisma to Stallone's 'Expendables'

In a mini scoop via TV Guide we learn one time "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" actress, not to forget Playboy pin-up, Charisma Carpenter will star in Sylvester Stallone's ensemble actioner The Expendables.
Carpenter will play the girlfriend of Jason Statham's character as Statham along with Stallone and Jet Li play mercenaries sent to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator and liberate the population. Their team is "expendable," hired to do jobs that no one else can or will. Filming was expected to begin in February in Costa Rica and Louisiana.
The cast also includes Randy Couture, Forest Whitaker, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Arnold Schwarzenegger (in a cameo as himself), Eric Roberts and Danny Trejo.
Stallone wrote and is directing the feature that doesn't have a distributor or a release date yet.
