Bryce Howard Ends Up In 'Terminator Salvation'
Gainsbourg hits the indy circuit leaving room for Howard

Does it upset you when you are set to star in a potential blockbuster franchise and you have to bail to star in an independent film? It all depends on just how big Charlotte Gainsbourg wants to get as the 36-year-old English actress has had to bail on starring in Terminator Salvation because of scheduling conflicts with another film, a French comedy. Replacing her will be Bryce Dallas Howard.
Howard recently starred as the platinum blond Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3 (pictured above) and also recently replaced Lindsay Lohan in The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond based on the Tennessee Williams screenplay.
Howard will be playing Kate Connor, the wife of human resistance hero John Connor, played by Christian Bale.
Kate Connor was last seen under the name of Kate Brewster with Claire Danes playing the role in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines in 2003.
If you are wondering who Gainsbourg is, you would have seen her in I'm Not There playing Claire to Heath Ledger's Robbie. She was alos in The Golden Door as well as 21 Grams. Obviously blockbusters aren't her forte.
