Brand New and Extended 'Alice in Wonderland' Trailer is Here

Now this one you know you want another look at

During Spike's 2009 Scream Awards not only did they debut a new trailer for Martin Scorsese's Shutter Island (watch that here), they also deliver a brand new trailer for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, a film that quickly jumped into my list of must see films of 2010 after seeing a short 3-D trailer at Comic Con this past summer.

Disney will release Alice in Wonderland on March 5, 2010 as Mia Wasikowska stars as a 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter. Alice embarks on a fantastical journey to find her true destiny and end the Red Queen’s reign of terror. Along with Wasikowska we have the likes of Michael Sheen, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Crispin Glover, Christopher Lee, Stephen Fry and, of course, Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.

Extended? It's a good bit shorter than the teaser… and not as good at all… And I'm pretty sure that there is no extra footage that I can see. Pity. Still, roll on 2010…

I love new trailers to big movies. Was the new Avatar trailer officially released online yet?

It's just the teaser, but it's all arse-about…

As far as I can tell, anyway.
