Brad Pitt Close to Becoming a 'Bastard', but Not Leo
Seems negotiations are under way... for one actor

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Brad Pitt is in negotiations to play Lieutenant Aldo Raine, star of Quentin Tarantino's upcoming WWII flick Inglorious Bastards. The entertainment mag received the word straight from Pitt's representatives.
However, one source has told EW that the rumors stating that Leonardo DiCaprio is in the running for the role of Col. Hans Landa are false.
The pic just found a home at Universal as the studio will co-finance the feature with The Weinstein Co.
I have the script, but have not had a chance to read it even though it seems everyone in Hollywood and online has already done so. The film is scheduled to begin shooting in the fall in Germany and France.
