As a box-office geek for many years, watching The Dark Knight's performance is probably how sports geek feel during superbowl. The success of the best superhero film ever is astounding. $200 million in 5 days, $300 million in 10 days, 6 days faster the PotC: Dead Man's Chest, probably $400 million in less then 20-25 days, and numerous other records broken is just incredible. The big question is if The Dark Knight will be able to break Titanic 10 year standing $600 million record. At the moment it's a bit early to say but I think we are looking at the new #2 surpassing Star Wars $460 million soon.
