Good feedback Malevolentmuse! I appreciate it and will try and do better (more well) with my columns in the near future.

No, wait.

Language is a living thing, meant to convey emotion. You DID understand the sentiment of the beast - so your petty critique of grammar is most likely your own insecurity bubbling up to the surface. It happens, and I've been there. But please learn the difference between the AP style manual and engaging seat-of-your-pants musings. Because they are not one and the same.

You can only hope to survive through the plight upon our world that Mamma Mia! is. Ouch. I mean, damn dude, seriously. I can't believe I actually read that. That grammar made my eyes hurt. "... plight upon our world that IS Mamma Mia!" or "... plight upon our world that Mamma Mia! has become." I have NEVER said anything about someone's grammar before, but this is a pretty good website and shit like that makes it look amateurish. Proof-read, proof-read, proof-read.

You stole my thunder and already wrote that I think Dark Knight will take the top spot, but I would like to add that I think the R-rating will also help. Pineapple (even though I gave it a C+) is definitely worthy of the #1 spot and wouldn't be a bad film for Dark Knight to lose to.

However, can you believe the total dollars on Hancock? That movie got savaged by reviewers and as Laremy points out it will hit $400 million worldwide, but it is already at $217 million domestically. Really impressive and proves Will Smith is our biggest movie star at the moment. With Seven Pounds coming out this Fall it will be Oscar talk for the man once again.
