If Tropic Thunder manage to keept the top spot it will be three in a row. That means only two films at number one for seven weeks. That is something that don't happen anymore. If Bangkok Dangerous flops badly next week and Tropic Thunder holds well it can also be four weeks on number one. That would be cool.

I think Tropic Thunder might take top spot again also.
With Babylon coming in second.
Why haven't they been pushing Babylon?
Has anyone seen it yet?

The biggest problem with Hamlet 2 is not necessarily the movie as much as it is the difficulty in marketing it. I thought it was a decent film, but there really is no specific audience for it which makes it hard to find any kind of real box-office success.

The other hard part about this weekend is the tight bunch at the top. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tropic Thunder take the top spot again with Disaster Movie and College canceling each other out. However, Disaster Movie does offer up the chance for those under the age of 17 to buy a Disaster Movie ticket and slide into Tropic Thunder, sorta how Rambo ended up losing to Meet the Spartans for what I can only assume to be the exact same reason.

Then there's Babylon A.D., the real toss-up. Who knows?

i think that Hamlet 2 is definitely under-rated by the oracle
here's my prediction
1. disaster movie- 13.9
2. Babylon A.D.- 12.8
3. Tropic Thunder- 10.4
4. House Bunny- 10.1
5. College 9.6
6. Hamlet 2- 6.9
7. Death Race- 6.4
8.dark Knight- 6.1
9. traitor- 6.0
10. Star Wars: the clone wars-3.4

college was also under-rated. i know a bunch of teens will go out and see this movie and i seriously think that the dark knight will be at $499,102,363 by sunday. after this week the dark knight will be at the same spot for the next couple of weeks with nothing really interesting coming into theaters. star wars will be a huge disaster and won't be anywhere by its budget of what after reading of 75 million.

but its labor day weekend and people usually turn out to the movies so any suprises could happen.
