Board Barker's 'Midnight Meat Train'
Just don't ask when it's going to be in theaters
Hearing Clive Barker at Comic Con was one of the oddest experiences of my life. I couldn't tell you exactly what he was high on, but it seemed more than just life. It was entertaining for a while, but in the end it was one of the most annoying parts of the convention. Barker was there to introduce the film he just wrote for director Ryuhei Kitamura and Lionsgate based on his short story, Midnight Meat Train. Yeah, I know, one hell of a silly title.
The pic features Vinnie Jones as a bad ass killer that likes to ride the subway and Bradley Cooper as a photog looking for the picture to kick start his career. Once all is said and done a blood bath ensues. Along with Jones and Cooper you also get Brooke Shields, Leslie Bibb and Roger Bart. The pic doesn't have a release date yet, but it now has a trailer as it eyes a release sometime in early 2008.
