I convinced my friend, who does not like musicals but liked Beetlejuice and Batman, to see this movie in the theater with me. I had no idea it was musical because the previews I saw on TV didn't feature any singing. I just thought it looked really cool and had a neat premise. I have some ill will towards this movie...and I won't watch it again as I still don't like musicals (exception: The Wizard of Oz). I wouldn't say it was boring but I will say they pulled a bait and switch with the marketing when this movie first came out. I will never try and watch this movie again. It is just over 70 minutes long and I have a hard time making it 15 minutes without falling asleep. I love animated films, and dont mind musicals. But this was just an ok film for me, and the songs did get annoying after a little while. Just my opinion.
