Bloodgood and Thirlby Pick Up Roles

Two ladies, two movies...

Variety just posted some casting news regarding two upcoming movies and the attachment of two lovely ladies. The first pic is the new Jason Reitman feature Juno, which already starred Ellen Page, Michael Cera, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman and Allison Janney. Joining them will be Olivia Thirlby in the lead role. Thirlby will play best friend to an offbeat young woman faced with an unplanned pregnancy who makes an unusual and bizarre decision regarding her unborn child.

The other bit of casting news surrounds Moon Bloodgood who will be featured in the not screened for online critics Fox release Pathfinder this Friday. Bloodgood is joining the cast of Barry Levinson's What Just Happened?. She will be joining Robert De Niro, Bruce Willis, Sean Penn and Stanley Tucci in the film based on Art Linson's memoir telling his life as a Hollywood producer. She plays a film exec who will stop at nothing to get a movie produced.
