Biggs Finds Walker in 'Antarctica'

Three more join Disney adventure pic.

Jason Biggs is taking a turn from comedy to adventure as he has joined Paul Walker in the cast of Disney's Antarctica. Along with the casting news we also learn that both Bruce Greenwood and Moon Bloodgood will be along for the ride as well.

Antarctica is a story based on a National Geographic article, in which two explorers set out across Antarctica but are forced to abandon their sled dogs in bitter weather and turn back. Walker plays the leader of an effort to rescue the dogs, while Biggs will play the field engineer at the base, Greenwood a university professor who joins Walker on the expedition. Bloodgood plays a pilot who helps them.

Variety reports that Antarctica started shooting on February 21 in British Columbia and Frank Marshall is directing.
