Publicist Sheryl Main has been updating fans on Sylvester Stallone's The Expendables since it began filming and today she offers up 96 seconds of behind-the-scenes footage with the following description from her blog post:

so here's a little never before seen footage from the set of The Expendables shot in Brazil. I'm headed to NoLa early next week and will be bloggin and tweeting up a storm. I also got a sneak peak at the teaser posters for the Cannes Film Festival which I hope I will be posting in a few weeks. Some behind the scenes photos will also be posted. footage shot by John & Pedro

The Expendables centers on a trio of mercenaries (Stallone, Jason Statham and Jet Li) who are sent to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator (David Zayas) to liberate the population. Their team is "expendable," hired to do jobs that no one else can or will. Also part of the cast are Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts, Danny Trejo, Charisma Carpenter, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, Terry Crews, Brittany Murphy and even Arnold Schwarzenegger in a brief cameo appearance.

The film is set for an April 23, 2010 release from Lionsgate. Check out the footage directly below.
