'Avatar' International Trailer, Featurette and Publicity Teaser

The videos just keep rolling in...

Video for James Cameron's Avatar is going to be wide spread over the next few days and today I have three new videos for you including an international version (Thai if I'm not mistaken) of the three-minute trailer, a four-minute featurette in questionable quality and a short 40-second teaser that has just been released. However, this isn't the end of it all.

Along with the 40-second teaser Fox has sent out a press release announcing the latest Avatar trailer will be getting the "biggest" live trailer viewing when it debuts on FOX NFL Sunday at the new Cowboys Stadium, where the three minute and thirty second trailer will play live on the enormous Electric Diamond Vision screen. The crowd attending the Cowboys-Seattle Seahawks game will experience the Avatar trailer live just minutes prior to the noon (Central) kickoff. At the same time, millions of others watching FOX NFL Sunday will see the trailer on-air – making it the largest live motion picture trailer viewing in history.

On top of this, throughout the day ninety-second Avatar commercial spots will air on all regional games carried on the Fox affiliates, the national game on Fox, and the World Series on Fox.

So now you have something to look forward to, and since I never miss a chance to watch my Seattle Seahawks I guess I will be giving the trailer a watch on Sunday as well, but for now check out the videos I have for you this morning.

The featurette is included at the lede of this article in a smaller format since it isn't very good quality in the first place while the other two videos are directly below. Avatar hits theaters on December 18, for more information click here.

I was watching a bootleg version of the new theatrical trailer over the weekend, and I actually preffered the bootleg version lol. Movie looks great. I know it might be to premature to start talking grosses, but is there any chance it could top Harry Potter or Transformers.

Meh…there better be some serious twists in the storytelling to keeo the general audience wanting to come back for more and to help better build good word of mouth and buzz similar to what District 9 and Paranormal accomplised. The game isn't what it used to be for studios.

Just wondering why they leave "The Abyss" off Cameron's resume when listing all his other directing jobs. First, that film had some ground-breaking special effects. Second, it showed some improvement in his characters – the Lindsey/Bud relationship was a strong emotional force in that film. Perhaps I'm in the minority in being an Abyss-fan.

I love it! Looks great. The effects look much more realistic now, the na'vi are so complexly well drawn. I can't wait. I especially like that little touch of honey to Stephen Langs accent.

I've remained impressed as each piece of new footage debuts for James Cameron's newest thrillride. I don't believe this film will be the "game-changer" that everyone keeps selling it as; however, I do believe audiences worldwide will be treated to a fantastic sci-fi journey.

I'm predicting a boffo box office of $350 million U.S. and $850 million Worldwide. Any takers?

I'm hoping for $400 million domestic and a billion world-wide. But I think your estimate sounds much safer.
