‘Atonement’ Has a DVD and HD DVD Release Date

That pretty much does it for major Oscar contenders

Outside of a release date for The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, today’s announcement that Atonement will be on DVD and HD DVD come March 18th is the last major Oscar contender to get a home video release date.

The flick will be available on a single disc DVD and a double-sided HD DVD. Here are the specs for each”

Single Disc DVD Edition:

  • Deleted Scenes with Commentary by Director Joe Wright
  • Bringing the Past to Life: The Making of Atonement
  • From Novel to Screen: Adapting a Classic
  • Feature Commentary with Director Joe Wright

HD DVD Edition:

HD DVD Side:

  • Deleted Scenes with Commentary by Director Joe Wright
  • Bringing the Past to Life: The Making of Atonement
  • From Novel to Screen: Adapting a Classic
  • Feature Commentary with Director Joe Wright

DVD Side:

  • Deleted Scenes with Commentary by Director Joe Wright
  • The Making of Atonement
  • Novel to the Screen
  • Feature Commentary with Director Joe Wright
