Anthony Hopkins Fathers ‘The Wolf Man’

I have a lot of faith in this flick

Anthony Hopkins

After recently watching the 1941 Lon Chaney The Wolf Man I have a lot of faith that the upcoming remake starring Benicio del Toro as the unfortunate man who getrs bitten by a werewolf and survives to carry the curse. However, the plot even improves now as Anthony Hopkins is set to join the feature as he tells MTV, “I’m going to do The Wolf Man with Benicio Del Toro.”

Hopkins will play Sir John Talbot, father to Del Toro’s Lawrence Talbot, a role originated by Claude Rains and it actually is a great fit. He had been rumored for the part for quite some time.

The Wolf Man will be directed by Mark Romanek and is scheduled for a February 13, 2009 release.
