RoboCop reboot? Forbidden Planet remake? Originality isn't dead, it just comes in a very familiar wrapping. Superman Returns could use a reboot, not a sequel. Spiderman can use a fourth to make up for the third. But it better be damned good. I love spiderman but if they can't raise the level back up to that of the first and second then don't bother. Interesting point by Chris Nolan. He did put his Batman in a "real" world. To suddenly fill it with superpowers just doesn't seem right. His succes might indeed have closed the door for Justice league. Apes prequel? RoboCop reboot? Forbidden Planet remake?
