Life of Pi is one of my favorite books. The only thing that concerns me about the movie is how the animals will turn out. CGI ones look way too fake, and it's going to be hard to get the real ones to do what the story says. Let's see.

I dug Life of Pi too. Ang Lee could be a great choice. He did really quiet and subtle work with both Brokeback and Lust, Caution -- so he might get the fable angle of Life of Pi. I actually think it would be a really simple adaptation too, it's got kind of a "Old Man and the Sea" struggle vibe.

I really dug this book. Could be a very good film if put into the right hands, also could be a disaster if in the wrong ones.
