Amy Adams Does a Little ‘Cleaning’

New indie for the upcoming star

Amy Adams has already been nominated for an Oscar for her work in Junebug, but most of you will probably recognize her as Ricky Bobby’s love interest Susan from Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. Adams was probably the best thing about Talladega Nights and she has obviously proven she can act and will set out once again to prove this with her newly acquired role in the indie feature Sunshine Cleaning for directors Christine Jeffs and Karen Moncrieff.

The pic was written by Megan Holley and focuses on a 30-year-old woman (Adams) who has squandered her life’s potential on dead-end relationships and her younger sister, who is trying to find her way in the world. The sisters find meaning and understanding through an unlikely enterprise, their own crime scene cleanup business.

Production is slated to begin in February.
