Alba ‘Acts’ Blind and Fails?

New on set pic of Jessica on The Eye

Sorry, that headline was just too easy as I point you to ShockTilYouDrop’s first look at Lionsgate’s remake The Eye starring Jessica Alba.

The Eye is a remake of the 2003 Pang brothers flick in which a blind woman undergoes a risky cornea transplant operation that restores her vision, but causes a series of inexplicable events and visions. Things get creepy and the woman sets out to uncover what is going on only to learn the disturbing past of her donor.

The original was creepy as hell and very effective and it bothers me that this remake will most likely earn much larger box-office dollars, but that is the world we live in.

The Eye hits theaters February 2008.
