Alan Cumming Finds His Share of Work

Actor gets his name attached to three new pics...

Alan Cumming, or Nightcrawler to you X-Men fans, will star in and produce Wedding Photo for writer/director Ali Selim.

The period piece will be set in Minnesota, in the 1920s, and follows the epic journey to the altar of Inge, a mail-order bride who arrives in the Midwest from Norway. Cumming will play a father of nine kids whose farm is being repossessed by a malicious banker.

Other names joining the cast are Ned Beatty, Lois Smith, Tim Guinee, Elizabeth Reaser, Gil Bellows and Tom Gilroy, the film goes into production this month.

On top of that Cumming has also taken a role in Josh Stern's drama Neverwas, in which a psychiatrist forced to confront his own demons when he learns that one of his patients was inspired by a book written by the shrink's late father.

A crew of much larger names joins him on that one as Aaron Eckhart, Brittany Murphy, Ian McKellen and Nick Nolte round out the cast.

Want more Cumming? Well he will also be joining Jeremy Tarr's Neon Dreams, a modern twist on the classic story of "Alice in Wonderland," and when I say twist, I mean it as Marilyn Manson will be playing the Queen of Hearts while Final Destination 2 actress, A.J. Cook will star as Alice.
