You know, almost immediately after posting the news that Up In the Air had moved from a November 13 release to December 4 I began thinking about how December 4 was the original release date slated for the festival favorite from Juno director Jason Reitman. The original announcement spawned news across the online movie sites and now the fact the date had changed again offered up the same amount of buzz.

Thus, Paramount had now double-dipped the news cycle and each time scored word on how the film has been ballyhooed from east to west… those tricky devils. After all, December 4 was the original rumored release date and looky-loo, here we are, Up In the Air will hit limited theaters on December 4 and expand throughout the month and to top it off we have a brand new trailer. Talk about maximizing your news cycle potential… Were they ever planning on a November release?
