yeah options between extended and theatrical would be awesome…how much are blu ray players selling for these days, anyone know?

My guess would be added, but that's just a guess. I am sure it will be an option to watch extended vs. theatrical.

so will the 70 min be added to the film (as in extended edition) or will we get to see the scenes independently?

This is exactly one of the things I mentioned in my blog on this site. I'm affraid to see a lot of stuff that brings down the film I (hopefully) liked before starting the deleted scene's. Ending up with the conclusion that it could've been so much better.
