43 New Stills from ‘300′!

Spartans! Tonight we dine in hell!

Wow, that is really the only word that can be used when looking at everything we have seen from Warner Bros. upcoming adaptation of Frank Miller’s graphic novel 300 and RopeofSilicon now has 43 new images to prove it.

Based on the fact that 300 has been at the top of RopeofSilicon’s most previewed movie for about 3 months I can only assume most of you are already familiar with this film, but if not let me give you the studio’s synopsis:

Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, 300 is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy. The film brings Miller’s (Sin City) acclaimed graphic novel to life by combining live action with virtual backgrounds that capture his distinct vision of this ancient historic tale.

The film opens on March 9 and we are going to have plenty more coverage and goodies coming your way in the next month so stay tuned, but for now click here or on the pic above to check out our gallery of 62 photos. Alos be sure to check out our trailer section for a new Video Journal featuring star Gerard Butler (pictured above).
