Bauer Goes Big: 20th Century Fox has signed Billy Ray (Breach) to script a feature film adaptation of the Fox television show "24". Word is the pitch will take Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) to Europe. No word on whether or not the film will be 24 hours long. [Variety]
Robbins Goes Green: Tim Robbins will play Senator Hammond in Martin Campbell's Green Lantern. Hammond is the disapproving father of the movie's villain, Dr. Hector Hammond (Peter Sarsgaard), who becomes infused with psychic powers. Ryan Reynolds stars as the title character and filming is expected to get underway in March in New Orleans. Let's just hope it's better than Edge of Darkness. [Heat Vision]
Weisz in House Thriller: Rachel Weisz will star opposite Daniel Craig and Naomi Watts in Jim Sheridan's Dream House for Universal Picture as filming got underway this past Sunday in Toronto. The thriller centers on a family (Craig and Weisz) who move from New York to a small New England town only to learn their perfect house was the scene of a murder. [Variety]
Tamblyn Falls for One-Armed Man: Amber Tamblyn will play girlfriend to James Franco in Danny Boyle's 127 Hours, telling the true story of Aron Ralston (Franco), the mountain climber who cut off his arm with a dull knife to save his life after being unable to free the limb from under a boulder. [Deadline]

24 Redemption was pretty good, set up season 7 well. Should be PG-13, but the TV show at times gets close to an "M" rating at times.
127 hours could be great, casting for the green lantern is looking good
Let's just hope it's as good (or even better) as Casino Royale
Kiefer Sutherlnad on the big screen again! I can't wait. There's so much potential for a "24" movie. It could be really intense. Kiefer is a bit of a bad boy. His bio "Living Dangerously" (available on amazon.com) talks about his wild ways and his troubles with the bottle and the law. Maybe he'll bring more of his bad boy side to life on the big screen. I hope so.
