I'm not at all interested in "Tetro." I love "Apocalypse Now" and the first two Godfathers (the third is crap of the worst order), but this one just doesn't strike my fancy. To be honest, it sounds rather boring.

"Up" will be spectacular. It's a good sign that the Canne audience applauded it; normally they'd boo anything that even approaches mainstream, so one minute of polite applause for a crowd-pleaser is equal to the 17-minute standing ovation they gave "Pan's Labyrinth" (which, by the way, totally deserved it). With 20 fresh reviews on Rottentomatoes (and 0 negative reviews), "Up" will be embraced by audiences and critics alike as Pixar's 10th great movie in a row (is there anyone else--whether studio or actor or direction--with that kind of streak? Besides Stanley Kubrick?).

Brad, you should research The Company Men (Raul Inglis) and My Own Love Song (Olivier Dahan), I'm predicting both for BP nominations.
