I can definately understand why that kid was and probably did explode noting it is july of 2009 and the movie just came out 6 days ago. I was ready to explode when they moved the movie back to november then april the july but now that I am going to see the movie in a couple of days it does not matter to me anymore.

Allow me to offer this opinion. Perhaps based on the strength of The Dark Knight, Wb has decided not to have all of their major franchise dollars made in the same calender year. I don't know when their fiscal year ends, but it could have to do with sandbagging a bit in order to show consistent returns. As with any publicly traded company, comparisons in performance are made year over year, and they wouldn't have the opportunity to duplicate that performance without 2 tentpole movies. (Terminator: Salvation) Just a thought.

You delay the movie and we'll delay our money! We can understand the fact of delaying a movie for revision or artistic reasons, but just so you think you are going to make more money by holding it off for a whole year???!!! It's outrageous!!! I've banded together those who say we aren't going to go see this movie when it comes out and encourage those to join with us. It's obvious the only way to send a message to WB's is through our pockets, so lets fight back!

I was looking forward to this movie comming out this year… but w.e. That means if we miss out on it this year next year it comes out in july then in 2010 the last HP film is supposed to show.

Hold on? you mean this thing is made for making money? OMG! Shock Horror!

Every movie has to do with making money, I don't go to work just to make other people's lives happier.

Constantly there's news about what films come out when and you should notice that that's allways about when people are more likely to go to the cinema and when there's less likely competition.
Trailers for instance aren't made for your amusement but to get you interested in spending money on the movie.

Annoying as it may be this is allways the way things worked.
And according to startrek it'll take another few hundred years or so before we do away with the monetary system.

Try checking out the other sex (or the same if thats your thing), you'll find it'll keep you quite busy until the film comes out.

Yeah, I think Potter movies are lame, but I feel for the kid. If was told The Hobbit would be delayed, I would explode too (unless it was for artstic reasons). However, I feel what they are doing with Potter is for monetary gain, which is understandable but disappointing.

I really don't care much about Harry Potter. But I understand why that kid would explode. I think I might have had a minor explosion in my brain if around April they would have announced that The Dark Knight wasn't going to be released until Spring Break 2009. I would've been fucking pissed. I couldn't have done anything about it, but the anticipation would have driven me to do crazy things.

I feel that kid's pain, sort of.
