Aronofsky Directing a Ballet Thriller?
Okay, sign me up even though I am completely lost
Darren Aronofsky is proving to define unique when it comes to filmmaking. Moving from Pi, to Requiem from a Dream and then The Fountain is quite impressive, but now that Variety is reporting his next pic just might be a psychological ballet thriller for Universal Pictures he has certainly turned the world of Hollywood on it's head.
The film is titled Black Swan and will be written by John McLaughlin on the basis of a detailed outline hatched by the director and writer.
The story is described as a thriller that looks at the manipulative relationship between a veteran dancer and a rival. Aronofsky is attached to direct and Universal is apparently fast-tracking the flick.
