Another Update on 'The Jetsons'
Is the live-action adaptation moving forward?
'BubbaJoe' writes in with a little more info found on the Net concerning the earlier mentioned live-action Jetsons flick, which apparently may be moving a bit more quickly than originally thought as AnimationHQ carries the story stating that producer Denise Di Novi mentioned that her next film might be a live-action adaptation of The Jetsons, for Warner Bros. Sam Harper has written a draft of the screenplay and the movie is scheduled to be directed by Adam Shankman. Apparently, the biggest challenge for the studio is to find the right person to play George Jetson- rumors abound that WB is hoping for Steve Martin.
